Abstract:

This is the second progress report of the study on "The Situation of Low-Income Groups and the Opportunities Available to them". The duration of the project is from 15 August 1989 to 15 November 1990. The first progress report consisted of a brief description of the study, a review of related studies on low-income groups, a discussion of the role of the government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the alleviation of the situation of low-income groups, consisting of the variables to be included in the study and a description of the sampling design. In this progress report, the revised sampling design and the statistical methods for data analysis was presented.
